Spring Quarter Applications and GoFundMe Launch!

It’s finally here! We are proud to announce that Curieus is now officially launching its programs with opportunities for everyone! The Curieus team has been working hard since late 2018 to empower the next generation and engage underserved children in STEM. We strongly believe that STEM has the potential to change lives for the better and that everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status, should have access to substantial educational opportunities.

On our journey to accomplish this mission, we have been teaching students in the fourth and fifth grade at the East Menlo Park Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula since early 2019 to pilot our philosophy and hands-on curriculum. Our lessons focus on STEM, targeting Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Engineering, for we feel comprehending these subjects is essential for thriving in today’s workforce and educational system. After spending two months tirelessly striving to refine the Curieus program, we are finally ready to share it with all of you!

With our launch, we are excited to expand our programs and provide opportunities to even more students. Our plan is to implement the next stage of our organization by recruiting new leaders who are dedicated to Curieus’ vision. For more information on our spring quarter and to apply, please go to our volunteer page! We are also asking for your support in order to provide our students with the best quality materials and technology. Please help us reach our goal of $15,000 to fund our programs in 2019!

This summer, we are also excited to host our first annual Camp Curieus, a free weeklong summer camp. Please stay tuned for more information!
